Write With Us
We are accepting pitches and unsolicited submissions of full articles for our Dispatches from the October Revolution, written in Arabic or English.
The Dispatches are short, critical reflections on the multi-front struggle against the governing political-economic order, as it manifested in the popular uprisings and as it continues to manifest in the multi-faceted crises today.
We invite all workers, organizers, activists, and agitators, students and intellectuals, theorists and academics, artists and researchers to share ideas, collective experiences, and analyses. We encourage contributors to use our critical topics as a guide and refer to our submission guidelines.
We aspire to offer the best version of writing during moments of acute social struggle and rapid change:
- These moments inspire unique perspectives: We encourage authors to embrace new ways of questioning, of seeing, and of imagining futures.
- These moments also carry much uncertainty and complexity: We urge authors to be aware of the risk of reverting to entrenched ideas as explanatory shortcuts.
- Writing about events as they unfold is inevitably based on partial and uncertain information: We believe real-time writing should reflect the necessary humility, while daring to make broad historical and theoretical connections.
